I can’t even tell you how many times I promised myself I’d stick to my New Years Resolutions.
I’d swear up & down that THIS was going to be my year. This is the year I finally got healthy, worked out, & started to like what I saw in the mirror.
I’d pin hundreds of workouts on Pinterest. Hell, a few years I even joined a new gym hoping that paying $40+ a month would keep me accountable.
I’d print out inspirational sayings & schedule my workouts/weigh ins in my planner.
Every year I’d promise this year would be different.
Then school would start back up again & I’d get busy. I’d pick up a few extra hours at work & fast food was just EASIER. I got sick of saying NO to going out with friends because I knew I’d have a few too many drinks & allllll the carbs.
Before I knew it I was back in my old habits of eating way too much & rarely moving my body. I chalked it up to just being TOO BUSY. I would cancel my gym membership because who can really afford $40+ per month?! I’d promise myself next year it would work. Next year I wouldn’t be so busy. Next year my budget wouldn’t be so tight.
If you’ve been following me for a while you’ve watched me take control of my mental & physical health and mentor women to do the same. You’ve watched me show up every single day - rain or shine. You’ve swiped through my instagram stories day after day. Maybe it’s time to give me a chance.
Maybe this year instead of continuing the vicious cycle, you tried something different. Something you’ve watched me do for 3 years now. Maybe having a support system of women uplifting you & me to call you out when you’re slacking would help. Maybe leading with your mental health instead of ‘getting skinny’ would change things. Maybe this could be your year.

👆🏻 I’ve always wanted to HELP people. But nothing felt quite right. I have the mouth of a sailor & my mind is FARRRR from G rated so that basically crosses out working with children & the general public 🤷🏻♀️🤣
But I’ve found such a groove with helping other hot mess expresses live their best lives 🙌🏻 I’ve found that by putting your #1priority on mental health & going from there, your life starts to align 👏🏻
Tonight I was able to ‘teach’ other coaches what actions they can do to drive their business forward in 1 hour a day..ONE hour 😳 How cool is that??
Even though I’m not teaching in a classroom, tending to people in the hospital, or writing insurance policies I’M STILL HELPING PEOPLE 🤯🤯🤯 Plus I’m able to play songs like “mother fucker I’m awesome” & I’m guessing that would be frowned upon in a 3rd grade classroom 🤔🤷🏻♀️
I suck at setting goals. I tend to either play it super safe or shoot for Jupiter. New Year's Resolutions tend to be forgotten by mid February. But not to fear! My team used this packet for setting goals & it help so much!! Hopefully it can help you too!
What if you spent this year learning to love yourself instead of trying to change yourself?
What if instead of hiding your rolls, cellulite, & stretch marks, you learned to embrace them & celebrate them for reminding you of your journey?
What if instead of counting calories & monitoring everything that goes into your body, you focused on HOW you're fueling your body?
What if instead of stepping on the scale every week, you stepped into school or work with a new found confidence?
What if instead of hating your body into something you like, you placed all your efforts on LOVING your body into something you like?
I promise you, if you focus on your mental AND physical health the results will come. But you can't restrict & hate your body into a good mindset. The good mindset is what allows your body to function at it's best!
